In a modest kitchen with the telly preaching, Erna, Grete and Mariedl defend their small place in life with cunning and breakneck verbal acrobatics — until their delusions of grandeur trip them up. Werner Schwab's comedy made him the radical renewer of the Volksstück, and the language is the star turn. This is a Theatertag performance, so all seats cost a flat 18 or 12 euros; it runs 105 minutes without an interval.
