Staged to accompany the Lenbachhaus exhibition Ein Ferngespräch: Szenen aus der Weimarer Republik, this evening pairs its 1920s art with the literature of the same years. Shenja Lacher and Liliane Amuat read from Irmgard Keun and Joseph Roth — glittering nights, precarious lives and a society lurching between exuberance and crisis — after a keynote by Lenbachhaus director Matthias Mühling. The foyer bar opens at 6pm before the 7pm start in the Saal.
