Amelie Diana & Andreas Bittl: A Weihnachtsgschicht
Bavarian-dialect retelling of Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with cabaret, Gstanzln and old Christmas songs on accordion and guitar.

Why go
Cabaret artist Amelie Diana and actor Andreas Bittl turn Dickens' Scrooge into a hard-hearted 19th-century Munich businessman visited by three spirits, all in broad Bavarian. It is a warm, musical afternoon show framed by old Bavarian Christmas songs, humorous Gstanzln and tavern music on accordion and guitar. It runs about 105 minutes in the Freiraum room at the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk, with handcrafted wooden stars handed out for a donation to the Zeltschule charity. A good fit for anyone who enjoys dialect comedy and a seasonal story with a soft heart.
