Anissa Loucif: „Kopftuchmädchen"
A comedian and former anaesthetist reads from her debut about growing up as a German-Arab Muslim woman, then talks it through.
Why go
Anissa Loucif swapped medicine for comedy, and here she reads from her first book about faith, family and finding herself as a German-Arab Muslim woman, doctor and mother. Expect wry, pointed storytelling followed by an on-stage conversation, held in the intimate Barbastelle room at Bergson in Aubing. The reading runs from 7pm to 8.30pm, with doors from 6pm, and is held in German. A good pick if you like literary evenings with a comic edge and a real exchange rather than a straight recital.
