PINHEAD is the solo project of multi-instrumentalist Ilja John Lappin, bassist and singer of prog-metal band The Hirsch Effekt, here presenting his album Egomessiah live. Expect a set that swings from gentle, catchy melodies and clear vocals to demonic screams, growls and driving metal riffs, backed by a full live band and a programmed light show. Lappin is joined by guitarist Florian Fleischer, bassist Marc Andrejkovitz and drummer Simon Schroeder for the release show. One for anyone who likes their metal emotional and theatrical rather than one-note.
