This evening lecture follows an unusual inscription column once cut from a mummy covering, tracing how the same text travelled through two ritual traditions. Friedhelm Hoffmann uses the object to show how a nearly forgotten Munich fragment still changes the reading of Egyptian ritual texts. The museum states that no registration is required; the fee is 4 euros, free for Freundeskreis members.
