Mercury
A devised theatre piece retracing the Queen frontman's Munich years, from flats and friendships to his first solo album.

Why go
Freddie Mercury lived in Munich from 1979 to 1985, recorded his first solo album here and left traces all over the city; this devised piece by director Michał Borczuch and the Residenztheater ensemble goes looking for them. The premiere production from April 2026 runs 105 minutes without an interval and is recommended for ages 16 and up. Advance tickets for this date are sold out; any returns go on sale at the box office on the night.
