Why go

Part of the SommerLese series accompanying the Tove Jansson exhibition, this early-evening reading takes place open air on the square behind the Literaturhaus. Katharina Bach of the Münchner Kammerspiele reads from Fair Play, Jansson's quietly radical novel about Mari and Jonna, a couple who live door to door in Helsinki and negotiate closeness, work and freedom. Entry is free on a first come, first served basis; if it rains, the reading moves into the first-floor library.
