Tollwood's ticketed New Year's Eve party spreads DJs and live bands across several heated tents on the Theresienwiese from 7pm. As the bells strike midnight the traditional New Year waltz plays out across the festival grounds for dancing under the winter sky. Entry is by advance ticket only, which also doubles as an MVV public-transport ticket on the night. Under-18s are admitted only with a guardian and under-6s not at all.
