Munich's genre-bending Jazzrausch Bigband teams up with the Münchner Symphoniker for a Christmas programme reimagined in the style of the great dance orchestras. Expect newly written pieces and arrangements by Leonhard Kuhn that fold the orchestra's full sound into the bigband's swing, including settings from "Am Weihnachtsabend". It runs about 75 minutes in the Elektra Tonquartier hall at Bergson in Aubing, with pay-what-you-can ticket tiers. A good pick if you want your seasonal music with a bit of playfulness rather than the usual carols.
