Why go

This is a reading and open conversation with activist Hami Hasun, daughter of a Yazidi family who fled the genocide in Iraq for Germany, presented in Bergson's Freiraum room. Drawing on her first book, she speaks frankly about flight, identity, racism and patriarchal structures, and about finding her voice through women's solidarity. It runs from 20:00 to 22:00, with doors at 19:00, and is held in German. Tickets are sold on a pay-what-you-can scale, from a social price to a supporter price.
