The first German retrospective of Steina, born 1940 in Reykjavik, a pioneer of video and media art. It traces her practice from early experiments to multi-channel installations built around what she called machine seeing, where sound and image feed into one another. The show runs from 12 June to 7 December 2026. A museum day ticket is 15 euros, reduced 5 or 11 euros.
