Opening on 13 November 2026 for the design museum's centenary, this new permanent room looks at how industrialisation and design grew together from the 19th century onward. Machines, measuring devices and motors are shown to expose their inner workings and the meeting of function and aesthetics. The display was designed by the studio OHA. Standard admission is 10 euros, reduced 7, with Sunday entry at 1 euro.
