Why go
The observatory's observer group presents large-format astrophotographs across four categories: night landscapes, the solar system, deep sky and Munich. The display sits in the foyer of the Deutsches Museum library and is supplemented with astronomy works from the collection and a technical showcase. Admission is free, though the library entrance has steps and is not wheelchair accessible. It runs daily from 09:00 to 17:00 until 31 October 2026.
