A twelve-hour reopening party for the Schauspielhaus, marking the theatre's centenary with dance, drag, food stations and open doors.
Why go
The Münchner Kammerspiele throw open the doors of their newly reopened Schauspielhaus for a night that folds 1926 and 2026 together into one long party. The seating is stripped out and a ramp links audience to stage, with opening speeches, a dance intervention by Doris Uhlich and ensemble, drag performances, food and drink stations, ambient music and a lucid-dreams corner made with TAM TAM. Doors stay open all night, from six in the evening until six the next morning, for anyone who wants to perform, mingle or simply sleep. It runs mostly in German and is open to everyone.
