A two-act evening at Import Export in the Kreativquartier for anyone curious about jazz that leans on folk roots and improvisation. Korhan Futacı, a saxophonist and singer from Istanbul, weaves psychedelic rock and lyrical songwriting through an Anatolian sensibility. The trio of Luise Volkmann, Athina Kontou and Cretan lute player Giorgos Xylouris sets traditional melody against contemporary improvisation. Doors open at 19:30 and the music starts at 20:00.
