Orgelsound 360°: Goldberg-Variationen
Bach's Goldberg Variations reworked for electronic organ, spread across the room in immersive 360-degree spatial sound.
Why go
Principal organist Hansjörg Albrecht plays his own transcription of Bach's Goldberg Variations BWV 988 in the Elektra Tonquartier, where the organ sound is distributed around the hall for a surround effect rather than fixed at the front. The evening doubles as a tribute marking the centenary of conductor and organist Karl Richter. Expect a focused, seated recital of roughly 75 minutes suited to anyone curious about how a keyboard classic sits inside a spatial-audio room. Doors open at 18:30 for the 19:00 start.
