This is a family concert for younger children, built around a comic story in which the impresario Balduin sets out to sign up Beethoven as his star talent. A string quartet plays music by Haydn and Mozart alongside familiar melodies, and the kids are pulled in with riddles, singing and plenty of chances to join in. It runs an easy hour from 11am, with doors at 10.30am, so it suits an early Sunday outing. Children under 14 go free thanks to Stadtsparkasse München sponsorship.
