An evening reading for people who like literary fiction that sits with the long aftermath of loss rather than the drama of it. Sandra Hoffmann's novel Mogadischu follows Fritzi, whose mother and small brother disappeared during a family holiday in 1977, and picks up 47 years later when she reunites with her nephew, a climate activist.
