Why go

South African artist Garth Erasmus draws on pre-colonial KhoiSan heritage, playing electrified bows and self-built instruments alongside a string-and-electronics ensemble. For this Munich date the Broken String Ensemble is joined by guest Micha Acher, with electronic musician Stefan Schneider, violinist Ruth May and cellist Peter Thiessen filling out the sound. Expect a fluid, experimental concert that moves between acoustic textures and electronics rather than fixed songs. It runs in Import Export's intimate hall in the Kreativquartier, doors at 19:00 and music from 20:00.
