Horsegirl
Chicago-formed, New York trio playing hooky post-punk and indie built on interlocking guitars and deadpan harmonies.

Why go
Horsegirl are three childhood friends, Nora Cheng, Penelope Lowenstein and Gigi Reece, whose songs sit between fuzzy indie rock, pop and playful minimalism. This Milla date lands behind their second album Phonetics On and On, produced by Cate Le Bon, so expect a leaner, more melodic set than their noisier early records. It is a small-room show for anyone who likes guitar bands that trade volume for texture and wit. Doors at 19:00, music from 20:00, in a standing venue that is not wheelchair accessible.
