On this Saturday residents of the Westparkviertel open up their courtyards, front gardens and garages to sell used clothes, books, toys, furniture and bric-a-brac straight from home. You wander the streets with a printed tour map, poking into yards and chatting with locals, so it doubles as an easy way to see a corner of southwest Munich you might otherwise skip. It is part of the M-net Hofflohmärkte series that rotates through Munich neighbourhoods all summer, and it runs from 10:00 to 16:00. Good for bargain hunters, families and anyone who enjoys a relaxed poke around a real neighbourhood.
