Why go

A tense modern drama about Dr Ruth Wolff, who heads an Alzheimer's research institute and refuses a priest access to a dying patient, then watches her decision spiral into a public reckoning over faith, identity and institutional power. Robert Icke reworks Arthur Schnitzler's 1912 play Professor Bernhardi for the present day, directed by Miloš Lolić with Lisa Wagner in the lead. This performance runs about two hours with no interval and is played in German with English surtitles, so it stays followable if your German is patchy. One for anyone who likes talky, argument-driven theatre that leaves you turning the ethics over afterwards.
