Why go
Volunteers from the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service come to the museum with tours on the Theodor Heuss, ship models and first-hand accounts from rescue work. The programme takes place in the Schiffsgarten, moving to the terrace by Modern Aviation in bad weather. It is included with museum admission; the Theodor Heuss itself is not barrier-free.
