Why go
The summer instalment of Munich's centuries-old Auer Dult, held on Mariahilfplatz in the Au. Visitors browse market stalls of household goods, crockery and crafts, sample Bavarian treats and take a turn on the carousel. It runs daily from 25 July to 2 August, with a reduced-price family day on 28 July. Entry to the fair itself is free.
