This evening tour traces glass in ancient Egypt from prized luxury to everyday material, looking at production methods, uses and the technological innovations behind them. It also charts how Egypt became an international exporter of glass. The tour costs museum admission plus four euros, free for Freundeskreis members. Registration through the online shop is required.
