The Munich Modern Jazz Orchestra revives Fred Sturm's 2002 arrangement of Astor Piazzolla's Libertango suite, first performed by the hr Bigband. Accordionist Vladislav Cojocaru, a tango nuevo specialist, joins as guest soloist for an evening that folds tango melancholy into modern big-band jazz. Part of the club's Monday Bigband Night series; reserved tickets are held at the box office until 30 minutes before the start.
