Why go

The weekly tour goes behind the scenes of the Residenztheater, covering the building's history and the many theatre trades at work on and behind the stage. The route takes in the stage and its machinery, the side stage, the shoe store, the tailoring shop and the props department, and where possible the make-up workshop. It starts from the main entrance on Max-Joseph-Platz and lasts about 80 minutes; the route is not barrier-free. Advance tickets for this date are sold out.
