Why go

The Volkssternwarte München runs a dedicated star show for children under its planetarium dome, projecting the night sky and explaining the planets in an accessible way. Sessions typically last about an hour and run on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 17:00 through the autumn. It suits families with children aged roughly four to twelve. Booking ahead is advised as space under the dome is limited.
