This Schauspielhaus production turns Lucas Rijneveld’s novel into a concentrated stage work about patriarchal violence and the difficulty of speaking about it. Annette Paulmann and Maren Solty perform in Leonie Böhm’s staging, which places two women inside the imagined perspective of a perpetrator. The 7 July performance has English surtitles, an introduction from 19:30 and a post-show discussion with Böhm.
