Staged in Saal 28 of the Pinakothek der Moderne, this focused survey draws on the Bavarian State Painting Collections' own Baselitz holdings. It gathers about 31 works, including the 1969 'Der Mann am Baum' where the inverted figure first appears and the late 'Avignon ade' of 2017. The show runs until 8 November 2026 and follows the artist's death earlier in the year. Standard admission is 10 euros, reduced 7, with Sunday entry at 1 euro.
